Current Projects
• Annual Minnekhada Art in the Park: MPA and Metro Vancouver hosted the first annual Minnekhada Art in the Park Festival in the summer of 2009. This free family-friendly event transforms the park and historic Minnekhada Lodge into a creative space for exhibits by talented BC artists. In addition to the unique art exhibits, the event includes live musicians, roving performers, an outdoor café, nature walks, and children’s crafts. For more information, click here.
• Annual Christmas Carol Sing-Along: In 2006, MPA revived the spirit of “Minnekhada Christmas” at the historic Minnekhada Lodge by offering Christmas carolling during the December Open House. The Lodge is typically open to the public on the first Sunday of every month and in December is festively decorated for the season. Carolling, story telling, fireside conversations, and light refreshments offer a fun prelude to the holiday season.
